Study in Italy

Italian university offers wide range of courses and tuition fee which is less than any other countries in Europe. Italy is a country of ancient universities in English medium in Undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma. Bangladeshi students have greater opportunities in getting full scholarship in Italy. Requirement for Italian visa is much easier than others, but processing time may be lengthy.

Type of Visa

For Bangladeshi student who wants to go Italy required Type D national visa. This visa is made especially for the student who is ready to begin the study abroad. The D national visa is valid up to 3 month. So, you need to renew your visa every year during your stay in Italy. Bangladeshi students will have to provide Biometric during visa application process. Student may have to attend an interview during application process. Student will have to pay fee of 50 EUR. Bangladeshi students are highly recommended to apply for student visa at least 4 month before the session starts. Processing time of Italian visa is little bit lengthy. Italian VFX or Embassy in Dhaka takes minimum 21 calendar days to give Italian student visa from Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi student need BDT 12, 00,000 (min) in personal bank account or proof of bank solvency.

Application Procedure

Bachelor program: Every student at least 12 years of study, completed (H.S.C), can also apply. Minimum 5 years of study gap is accepted. Madrassa education is accepted. HSC not below GPA 3.50/5.00 and also need IELTS of 6.0. Master’s Program: Having Bachelor Degree (Hons. BSc, BBA, BA). NU degree pass accepted. Study gap maximum 6 years. IELTS is required only for Bangladesh with a result of 6.0

Living In Italy

Tuition Fee: It varies widely. Your Tuition fee of a depends on your nationality, university whether it is public or private. Whether you arrive with an ERASMUS scholarship or not. On average:  Tuition fees at public universities range between 0–5,000 EUR/year  Tuition fees at private universities range between 3,000–35,000 EUR/year Italy is one of the cheapest countries in Central Europe. For accommodation, transportation, food, and entertainment, a student would need around 700–1,000 EUR per month. Larger cities can be more expensive.
